Responsibilities
Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging procedures, selecting appropriate anatomic and technical parameters
Administer contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and within scope of practice
Monitor patients during procedures, identifying and reporting any abnormal activity promptly
Adhere strictly to radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and staff
Perform specialized imaging, including angiography and complex vascular and therapeutic interventions
Assist Radiologists and Physician Assistants during interventional procedures
Ensure full compliance with regulatory agency standards and facility protocols
Qualification
Required
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
1+ year of Cath Lab experience
Preferred
Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or in specialized imaging procedures
Knowledge of radiation safety and contrast media administration
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Strong attention to detail and patient-centered approach
Certification and licensure as required by state regulations
