Responsibilities
Prepare patients and assist cardiologists during cardiac catheterization procedures
Operate and maintain catheterization lab equipment, including imaging systems
Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes during procedures
Adhere to sterile techniques and safety protocols to ensure a secure clinical environment
Document procedure details accurately and communicate with the care team to facilitate smooth workflow
Qualification
Required
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
1+ year of Cath Lab experience
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with a proven track record in cardiac imaging and procedures
Active California state license to practice as a Cath Lab Tech
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to operate imaging equipment safely and effectively while assisting physicians during interventions
