Responsibilities
Team management, oversight, development, and mentorship
Lead client interaction and ensure that we are responding to their needs
Review staff accountants’ work on accounts and finalize financials
Assist with special projects, depending on needs of managers and staff
Prepare financial statements
Record journal entries- daily, monthly, quarterly, annually
Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables
Maintain all customer financial records
Reconcile accounts and maintain general ledger
Provide CFO Services to clients. Help Clients identify and track KPIs
Prepare advisory financial reports
Participate in Clients management meetings
Qualification
Required
Management team member who has 8+ years of public accounting experience
Possesses a BS/MS in accounting
This technology oriented individual should have experience in multiple accounting software systems (low end to mid-level systems); next generation consultation experience
Strong work ethic, sense of urgency, detail orientation and organizational skills are a must
Ability to Commute: Metairie, LA 70002 (Required)
Preferred
8 plus years of public: Maybe have: experience previously in public accounting highly desired
Multiple industry environment preferred (restaurant, professional services industry, real estate industry, etc.)
Possesses an outsourced CFO/Controllership skill set
The successful candidate should also have strong supervisory accounting skills, team management/building Skills and be able to successfully interact with staff and client's top executives
