Responsibilities

Rules compliance review including research of local rules, orders, and judicial preferences to ensure accurate deadline generation
Document and docket review and analysis for calendar events
CompuLaw event entry, deadline generation and accuracy review
Weekly calendar report generation and distribution
Reviews and updates Goodwin LED informational resources
Routine CompuLaw database administration
In addition, the LED Clerk, on an as needed basis, in conjunction with the Assistant General Counsel & Managing Director of Court Procedures and the LED Senior Manager, participates in initiatives and projects

Required

Bachelor degree + 2 years of experience in a litigation calendaring position using CompuLaw or other similar calendaring database
Working knowledge of state and federal court rules and structures
Proficient legal research and analytical skills
Superior organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multitask with changing priorities to meet strict deadlines
The ability to respect, protect and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
Superior client service and litigation support skills
The ability to work independently, take initiative, and be proactive
Possess professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills and the ability to work cohesively and constructively with all levels of firm personnel
Demonstrated flexibility to work outside regular business hours
Minimal travel may be required

Preferred

Knowledge and experience with litigation docketing/calendaring systems such as CompuLaw, PACER, or CM/ECF desirable
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
