Fuselage Structures Engineering Manager
The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Fuselage Structures Engineering Manager to join their BCA Airframe Structures Team based in North Charleston, SC. This leadership role focuses on mentoring and promoting engineering excellence while managing a team of Structures Analysis and Design Engineers supporting the 787 fuselage.

Responsibilities
Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Mechanical & Structural Engineering
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops and motivates employees
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
7+ years of experience in structural engineering
3+ years of experience in leading or managing an engineering team
Preferred
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
3+ years of experience in Boeing 787 Commercial Airplanes program
Experience in leading 787 Return to Edge Check activities
Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
Experience collaborating with other engineering disciplines, production and/or regulatory organization
