Environmental Sustainability Analyst

Responsibilities
Execute carbon neutrality workstreams and partner with the global team to develop strategies that achieve near- and long-term climate targets
Lead the development and timely submission of required climate-related disclosures, performing rigorous data reviews to guarantee accuracy and completeness
Develop comprehensive climate-related risk assessments, including physical and transition risks, to satisfy current and future regulatory requirements
Accelerate the implementation of tools to increase the efficiency and precision of future sustainability reporting
Deliver ongoing Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) to fulfill regulatory mandates and respond to customer transparency requests
Innovate ESG data management by identifying and implementing opportunities for automation, including the integration of AI and other technologies
Propel Ford’s strategies and ambitions regarding sustainable materials by collaborating with key stakeholders in Supply Chain Sustainability and Research & Innovation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or environmental science
3+ years of experience in project management
3+ cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Supply Chain, Product Development, and Research & Analytics
Preferred
Strong interest in sustainability is preferred
Product development experience preferred
Effective oral and written communication and presentation capabilities across a broad range of organizations and management levels globally, including vice presidents
Strong negotiation skills
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
Strong project management skills
Self-motivated and ability to work in an unstructured environment
Ability to work cross-functionally, within Ford and with external entities
Strong relationship building
