Responsibilities
Design and implement backend services in Python and Java for mission planning and flight operations
Develop and validate algorithms for modeling complex physics-based concepts and operational workflows
Build and integrate APIs with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure for scalability and resilience
Optimize software performance and ensure maintainability, security, and cost efficiency
Deploy containerized applications and support CI/CD pipelines for production environments
Collaborate cross-functionally with satellite operators, product managers, and engineering teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related technical field
3–5+ years of experience in backend development, modeling & simulation, or full-stack engineering
Proficiency in Python and Java
Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS/EKS, EC2, RDS, S3) and containerization (Docker)
Active U.S. Security Clearance (Secret required)
