The Summer Math Instructor will teach advanced Math to small classes of students, manage classroom dynamics, and inspire a love for learning in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Teach Engaging Curriculum: Use company-created curriculum and materials designed for advanced students to lead small classes in Math
Engage Students: Actively involve students in each class or student-led learning
Classroom Management: Expertly manage up to 16 students
Grade & Provide Feedback: Provide feedback on assignments
Build Relationships: Connect with students and families to make a lasting impact on their educational journey
Inspire Learning: Encourage a love for learning and critical thinking in Math

Qualification

Math knowledgeTeaching experienceBachelor’s degreeClassroom managementRelationship building

Required

A Bachelor's degree is required
Strong content knowledge in Math
Experience teaching or tutoring students
Candidates must be located in Irvine or the greater area and must be able to commute to our campus
In order to be considered for this position you must be legally authorized to work in the US

Preferred

A Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related or educational field is strongly preferred
Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred
