Construction
Responsibilities
Surface Preparation: Cleaning, grinding, shot-blasting, or masking surfaces to ensure proper adhesion
Application: Operating plural component spray systems (e.g., Graco Reactor) to apply polyurea evenly to tanks, roofs, or floors
Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshooting, cleaning, and repairing spray guns, hoses, and pumps
Material Handling: Accurately mixing chemical components according to specifications
Safety Compliance: Wearing necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), following SDS guidelines, and adhering to OSHA standards
Quality Control: Inspecting coatings for thickness and coverage
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in industrial coatings, painting, or construction
Understanding of plural component spray equipment
Ability to lift over 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and handle heights
Sometimes requires a driver's license or specialized safety certifications
