Private Equity Associate
The Hollister Group is a leading private investment firm managing billions in assets, seeking a talented Senior Associate to join their private equity team. This role involves supporting key financial processes to drive strategic growth and value creation across a diverse portfolio of companies.
Responsibilities
Lead quarterly US GAAP reporting and ensure accuracy in financial statements
Oversee annual audit processes and facilitate timely completion
Conduct valuation analyses to support investment decisions
Manage capital calls and coordinate distributions to investors
Supervise cash management activities and liquidity tracking
Respond efficiently to limited partner (LP) inquiries to maintain strong investor relations
Assist in documenting and understanding investment transactions
Calculate carried interest and support related financial metrics
Collaborate with finance teams on special projects to optimize operational processes
Support ad hoc reporting and analysis to improve team performance
Qualification
Required
2-4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in private equity or finance
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with keen attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels
A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
CPA designation is a plus
