Responsibilities
Own the finance operating engine: Lead month-end close, maintain GL integrity and controls, manage AP/AR, collections, cash flow, and payment strategy
Multi-location performance leadership: Produce accurate location-level and consolidated P&Ls, strengthen shared services allocation models, and partner with branch leaders to drive profitability through a repeatable business review cadence
Revenue, billing & cash discipline: Improve billing accuracy across services and projects, strengthen contract-to-cash workflows, reduce DSO, and create predictable cash flow
Reporting, forecasting & KPIs: Deliver leadership-ready monthly reporting and dashboards, maintain rolling forecasts and budgets, and define actionable finance KPIs tied to margin, utilization, and client profitability
Procurement & inventory governance: Implement purchasing policies, vendor management cadence, spend visibility, and inventory controls (including cycle counts and reconciliation) across locations
Systems ownership & automation: Own finance systems and data flows, improve integrations and data hygiene, and drive automation to reduce manual close, AP/AR, and reporting effort
Benefits financial oversight: Oversee financial performance and governance of the self-funded health plan in partnership with HR and external providers
Build a scalable finance team: Assess people, process, and tools; establish role clarity, cross-training, and accountability; and hire or develop talent as needed
Qualification
Required
10+ years progressive accounting/finance leadership experience
Demonstrated ability to be hands-on in close, reporting, forecasting, and cash management
Strong GAAP knowledge and controls mindset
Experience managing multi-location reporting, allocations, and performance cadence
Experience improving billing/AR discipline and contract-to-cash execution
Track record of process improvement, automation, and team efficiency gains
Clear communicator who can partner with operators and executive leadership
High integrity, ownership mindset, and comfort operating in accountability-driven cultures
Advanced Excel / financial modeling required
Preferred
MSP / IT services / recurring revenue services experience
M&A exposure (asset purchases and/or integration)
Audit readiness experience
CPA and/or MBA (nice to have, not required)
