Responsibilities
Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, and systems
Assist in the design, build, testing, and checkout of test equipment
Work with schematics, engineering drawings, repair manuals, and written or verbal instructions
Operate equipment, conduct tests, and report data in prescribed formats
Perform calibration and alignment checks, making adjustments and modifications as needed
Prepare required compounds and solutions
Follow established operational processes and escalate issues for resolution
Contribute to achieving operational targets within the department
Qualification
Required
Ability to perform electronic and electromechanical assembly operations
Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering documents
Skill in wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing
Ability to make adjustments and maintain tolerances to blueprint specifications
Ability to follow established procedures and escalate issues as needed
4+ years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent
0–2 years of relevant experience with a post-secondary/associate degree
Teamwork ability
Good communication skills
Ability to work with general supervision and moderate peer review
Problem-solving skills for straightforward issues
Electronic and electromechanical assembly
Soldering and cable harnessing
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience
Associate degree with related experience
