Responsibilities
Provide critical and compassionate care for a range of emergency conditions such as stroke, respiratory failure, trauma, sepsis, MI, and cardiac arrest
Utilize specialized equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun in patient management
Flexibly float to different assignments within the unit as needed
Function under block scheduling (evening to early morning shifts), ensuring optimal patient outcomes
Maintain unit standards dressed in designated scrub color (navy blue)
Qualification
Required
Nursing degree
Active registered nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1+ years RN experience
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience, including pediatric care
Documented travel nursing experience
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in New York State
Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC required and must be in-hand at time of submission
Familiarity with EPIC Electronic Medical Records system
Valid drivers license with corresponding demographic address
Preferred
Experience in charge nurse or manager roles preferred, with two recent RN references
