Apprenticeship Consultant

Responsibilities

Develop and consult with Apprenticeship and "On-The-Job" training programs
Provide guidance on compliance with state and federal apprenticeship laws and regulations
Conduct program reviews
Attend apprenticeship program meetings, public meetings, job fairs and outreach events
Attend and advise at meetings and outreach events
Collaborate with staff statewide to complete work assignments
Occasional travel required that may include driving or flights

Required

Must be reachable on an employment list, have transfer eligibility or have reinstatement eligibility
Experience working with Apprenticeship Programs
Experience helping to improve representation in any organization
Qualities and experience that would make you invaluable to the Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS)
Current version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678 (when not applying electronically), or the Electronic State Employment Application through your Applicant Account at www.CalCareers.ca.gov
All Experience and Education relating to the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification should be included to demonstrate how you meet the Minimum Qualifications for the position
