Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning: Own the company’s financial model, cash flow analysis, and runway planning. You will lead FP&A activities, manage burn rates, and support the CEO in fundraising diligence and investor reporting
Hardware Operations & Supply Chain: Oversee the operational lifecycle of our hardware products. This includes managing relationships with ODMs/CMs, coordinating international logistics, optimizing Bill of Materials (BOM) costs, and ensuring manufacturing milestones are met
Strategic Execution & Alignment: Translate the CEO’s strategic vision into actionable operational plans. Ensure cross-functional alignment between engineering, product, and operations to prevent silos
Special Projects: Lead critical, time-sensitive initiatives that don’t fall neatly into a specific department—whether that's setting up a new international entity, negotiating a key vendor contract, or auditing internal workflows for efficiency
Meeting Cadence & Information Flow: Curate the executive agenda. Ensure meetings are high-leverage, data-driven, and result in clear decisions. You will act as a gatekeeper and a proxy for the CEO when necessary

Required

3+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Venture Capital, or a strategic finance/operations role at a hardware startup
Proven experience or strong familiarity with hardware product cycles, supply chain, or international manufacturing (experience with Asia-based manufacturing is a strong plus)
Mastery of financial modeling (Excel/Google Sheets) and presentation tools (Pitch, PowerPoint)
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
Ability to work on-site in Redwood City, CA

Preferred

MBA is a plus but not required
Familiarity with hardware operations tools or ERPs is a bonus
