Responsibilities

Delivering resource co-taught instruction for grades K-2, supporting up to 6 students with diverse learning needs
Managing a cross-categorical, specialized higher support SPED classroom for grades K-2, serving 7 students
Providing specialized reading or math instruction for junior high (middle school) students, working with groups of 10-11 students
Collaborating with general education staff and related service providers to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement instructional strategies that promote student success
Utilizing bilingual communication skills to engage students and families, ensuring accessible and culturally responsive education
Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each child

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
active Special Education Teacher license
minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience
