Responsibilities
Providing quality care on a med-surg unit with potential floating within scope to the Emergency Department
Schedule consists of day shifts from approximately 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
Weekend coverage required twice per month
One on-call shift monthly
Holiday rotation is also part of the role
Participate in a comprehensive orientation
Receive bi-weekly pay
Qualification
Required
Nursing degree
Active registered nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1+ years RN experience
Kansas RN license or Compact licensure
Current AHA BLS certification
Current AHA ACLS certification
At least 1 year of hospital med-surg experience
Preferred
Familiarity with intravenous medication administration, including Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem
Experience with IV medications
