Responsibilities
Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments to cancer patients according to physician orders
Operate sophisticated radiation equipment including Aria and Varian Truebeam systems
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting software
Adhere to safety protocols including proper use of radiation badges and shielding
Provide patient education and support throughout treatment course
Cross-cover different treatment machines when required by the facility
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification)
Minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience
National certifications: ARRT and SCRQSA, BLS required
Radiation badge must be provided by agency (not supplied by the facility)
Ability to float between different treatment machines as needed
Preferred
Experience with Aria and Varian Truebeam systems
Prior experience in a cancer center or similar high-acuity setting
Locals within a 60-mile radius considered on a case-by-case basis
