Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department
Manage patients presenting with stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
Utilize specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
Float across departments as needed and adapt to block scheduling under a 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. shift
Support charge nurse duties if highly preferred
Qualification
Required
Nursing degree
Active registered nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1+ years RN experience
Current and active NY RN license verified via NURSYS
Minimum of 2 years of ED nursing experience with pediatric exposure
Travel nursing experience
Current certifications including AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCCTNCC
EPIC EMR experience
Ability to provide at least two recent ED Charge/Manager RN references
Valid drivers license with matching demographic address
Readiness to submit an up-to-date resume and Registered Time Off (RTO) details
Preferred
Support charge nurse duties if highly preferred
