Responsibilities
Providing comprehensive nursing care for patients with general medical conditions such as cardiac issues, pneumonia, UTI, and fluid overload
Monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms on telemetry, managing PCA pumps, surgical drains, and wound care
Collaborating with CNAs, reception staff, charge nurses, and specialists to maintain patient safety and carry out nurse-specific duties including IV starts and telemetry monitoring
Qualification
Required
Nursing degree
Active registered nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1+ years RN experience
Valid RN license with a minimum of 1 year MedSurg/Telemetry experience
Current BLS and ACLS certification
Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry care
Ability to manage PCA, wound care, and surgical drains
Preferred
Comfortable learning Cardizem and Amiodarone infusion management
NIHSS certification
Experience with Epic EMR and Alaris IV pumps
