Responsibilities
Conduct MRI scans of soft tissue, arterial systems, brain, spine, joints, and extremities with or without contrast media
Adjust imaging parameters to optimize image quality based on the study requirements
Follow department protocols and direction provided by Radiologists
Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
Ensure timely and accurate completion of imaging services for both inpatients and outpatients
Qualification
Required
Degree in Radiologic Technology
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification)
Minimum 1+ years MRI experience
2-3 years of MRI Technologist experience required
ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) registrations mandatory
Must reside 50+ miles from the facility
Preferred
Graduation from an accredited AMA MRI program
Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registry (MR) through ARRT
Valid State Radiographer License
