Theatre & Casting Internships: NYC - Summer 2026
Warner Bros. Discovery is a leading entertainment company known for its iconic content and beloved brands. They are offering multiple Theatre & Casting internship opportunities for Summer 2026, where interns will assist with various tasks related to casting, event planning, and administrative support within the department.

Responsibilities
Keep department contact sheets up-to-date with updated series regulars/EPs and rep contact info
Help brainstorm and research charities for department donations and create donation cards
Work events on-site as needed
Assist with coordinating team meetings with internal departments and outside vendors
Draft talent itineraries for premieres, festivals, awards ceremonies, FYCs, and other special events
Gather HBO and Max accolade statistics that help decide current team campaign strategies
Manage the department competitive landscape grid to record trends and other award predictions
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of HBO | Max “For Your Consideration” events in April and May that feature panelists/talent from HBO and Max original shows
Assist during script readings and workshops in the Theatre industry
Research creative talent for upcoming projects when requested
Assist with marketing and varied press-related projects
Attend industry events on behalf of the Theatre Ventures group
Attend readings and workshops and offering your thoughts on material
Perform general administrative duties and support tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Must be available to work in-office on Tuesdays-Thursdays with flexibility on Mondays and Fridays for the Theatre Ventures internship
Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone
Self-motivated, reliable and able to work and think independently
Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
Must be a rising Junior or rising Senior undergrad student (18 years or older)
Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA) A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended
Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States. Candidates currently on any student or exchange visa, including F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1, etc., will not be eligible for the internship program
Must be able to attend evening events
Preferred
Experience working for an agency preferred
Passionate for all things television
Strong, demonstrated interest in Theatre
Prior experience in the Theatre industry a plus
