Responsibilities

Perform software integration and testing in a lab environment to validate the functionality and reliability of Patriot software
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, software developers, and test engineers, to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues
Develop and execute test procedures and test cases to validate system requirements
Analyze test results and document findings to identify system performance and functionality gaps
Support the development of automated test scripts to streamline the integration and testing process
Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including test plans, procedures, reports., and drawing pages
Work under the direction of senior engineers while gaining hands-on experience in software development and testing methodologies

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field
This position requires 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships)
Experience with software programming languages such as C++, C, or Python (academic or professional)
Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Hands-on experience with hardware/software integration in a lab setting
Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) or embedded systems
Experience in a Unix/Linux operating system
Familiarity with Patriot missile systems or similar defense systems
Prior experience with version control systems(e.g., Artifactory) and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
Exposure to military standards or defense-related software projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
