Responsibilities
Architect and implement scalable backend systems for AI-powered products
Design and build APIs, services, and data pipelines that support agentic, LLM-driven workflows
Collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to define solutions grounded in real customer problems
Own features end-to-end, from early design and prototyping to production deployment and iteration
Contribute to engineering best practices around reliability, performance, security, and maintainability
Help shape the technical direction of a fast-growing AI platform
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong experience with a backend programming language such as Go or Python
Hands-on experience building applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) in production or near-production environments
Experience designing and building APIs and backend services
Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and translate customer needs into technical solutions
Experience taking systems from concept through shipping and operating them in production
Preferred
Experience building data ingestion pipelines, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures
Experience in DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, or security domains and working knowledge of public cloud services, Kubernetes
Experience operating production systems on-call
Experience working in early-stage or fast-moving startup environments
Comfort making architectural decisions and mentoring other engineers
Advance graduate degree in System Engineering or AI/ML
