Art Director
TeamPeople is an organization dedicated to providing superior customer service, and they are seeking an Art Director to elevate and evolve client brands through visual direction and design leadership. The role involves leading visual storytelling across various channels and collaborating with a creative team to translate complex ideas into compelling narratives.
Responsibilities
Lead and execute the visual direction for Brand and Campaign work across digital, social, film, print, and experiential channels
Partner with an in-house creative production team to develop creative concepts grounded in strategy and driven by craft
Use generative AI tools for concepting, visual asset creation and final deliverables
Champion the evolution of the brand, helping to define and refine a visual language that scales across touchpoints and audiences as well as creating new identities for newly released products and Venture
Translate creative briefs into smart, emotionally resonant visual narratives, from mood boards and storyboards to final execution
Leverage generative AI tools for motion design and visual effects
Be comfortable creating and directing the team through all stages of production, ensuring cohesion and creative excellence
Present ideas confidently to internal teams and stakeholders, clearly articulating creative rationale and design intent
Stay on top of design, cultural, and technology trends, helping creative output remain bold, relevant, and future-focused
Qualification
Required
Strong conceptual thinker with the ability to merge brand strategy and creative execution seamlessly
Excellent presentation and communication skills; able to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively
Deep understanding of digital design, typography, composition, and image-making
Collaborative leadership style, confident but humble, inspiring creativity through partnership
Passion for innovation, design systems, and emerging technologies (Web3, blockchain, crypto)
Organized, detail-driven, and comfortable managing multiple projects with shifting priorities
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple design projects simultaneously managing competing priorities and deadlines
Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills with the ability to provide design guidance and feedback to team members
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, ecosystems and marketing
Strong problem-solving skills and initiative. Motivates and inspires the team around them
Positive attitude and strong team player mentality
Typically 7 + years of experience in art direction, branding, or design within an in-house or agency environment
Proven branding experience, including identity systems, brand development, and implementation across multiple media
A portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft, concept development, and storytelling across integrated campaigns
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Figma
Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, marketing, or a related field
Experience within Web3, Blockchain and Crypto industry
A genuine love for the craft with equal respect for the idea and the execution
The ability to think conceptually, act strategically, and design beautifully
A desire to shape a brand that stands for open innovation, trust through design, and technology that empowers people everywhere
