Responsibilities
Operate MRI equipment efficiently, ensuring high-quality imaging
Prepare patients for scans by explaining procedures to promote comfort and cooperation
Maintain a clean, safe environment in the scanning area
Coordinate closely with physicians to provide necessary diagnostic imaging
Document procedures accurately while safeguarding patient confidentiality
Perform patient care tasks as required during imaging procedures
Qualification
Required
Degree in Radiologic Technology
Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification)
Minimum 1+ years MRI experience
Associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or relevant radiology certification
Two years of MRI technologist experience
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Experience with GE or Siemens MRI scanners
Familiarity with non-contrast exams including routine MSK, neuro, spine, and some body MRI studies
Willingness to obtain ARRT certification or similar credential post-hire
Ability to stand for extended periods
Strong understanding of medical terminology
