Engineering Technician
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a dedicated Engineering Technician to support various engineering projects within the Department of Transportation. This role involves conducting field inspections and assisting in the preparation of technical reports and plans, with a focus on surveying principles critical for highway and bridge design and construction.

Responsibilities
Executing basic engineering assignments that incorporate surveying principles to gather and analyze data critical for the design and construction of highways and bridges
Taking part in training sessions that cover the operation, setup, and optimal use of various surveying tools, including Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) software and global positioning systems
Qualification
Required
An associate degree in surveying, drafting, designing, civil, or any other appropriate field of engineering technology
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree
This particular position also requires possession of a valid driver's license
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
