The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a highly organized and ambitious IT professional for the position of Database Administrator 1. This role involves assisting in the creation and ongoing support for reports, dashboards, and other data products while ensuring data visualization standards are upheld.

Responsibilities
Assist the team lead in creation and ongoing support for reports, dashboards, and other data products
Work with Employment Banking and Revenue (EBR) users to advance the usage of data visualization tools, ensuring standards around data visualization are upheld
Have knowledge and execution of database backup, recovery principles and procedures; in addition to data structure models, database management and information retrieval techniques
Design and develop relational database structures and knowledge of data performance measurement and evaluation techniques
Develop and provide ongoing support for reports, dashboards, and other data products and provide 24/7 support as needed
Qualification
Required
One year as a Database Analyst or Information Technology Generalist 2
Five years of information technology experience that includes two years in the analysis, design, and maintenance of databases in overall support of database administration
Three years of information technology experience that includes two years in the analysis, design, and maintenance of databases in overall support of database administration, and an associate's degree in any information technology field
One year of information technology experience in the analysis, design, and maintenance of databases in overall support of database administration, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field
An equivalent combination of experience and training
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
