Responsibilities

Serve as a core analytics partner supporting product performance and optimization initiatives
Examine large, multi-source datasets to generate insights that guide product strategy and decision-making
Partner cross-functionally to support the design, launch, and refinement of new products, features, channels, and digital payment solutions
Develop customer segmentation and performance analyses based on pricing, terms, behavior, credit outcomes, adoption trends, and profitability
Incorporate external and partner data sources to assess customer behavior outside the portfolio, market dynamics, and competitive positioning
Apply statistical techniques, predictive models, and visualization tools to produce clear, actionable recommendations
Create measurement frameworks and performance indicators to track outcomes and identify improvement opportunities
Support controlled testing, pilots, and experimentation through robust analytical design and validation
Translate complex findings into clear narratives, dashboards, and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences
Collaborate with subject matter experts to deepen understanding of enterprise data assets
Contribute to special initiatives and ad hoc analytical projects as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business-related discipline (e.g., Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science)
Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in analytics within financial services, banking, payments, consulting, credit, or related fields
Candidates without a degree must demonstrate 7+ years of equivalent professional experience
At least 3 years of hands-on experience using analytical programming tools such as Python, R, or SAS
Demonstrated experience leading complex analytics initiatives across multiple stakeholders
Background working with partners across functions such as marketing, credit risk, finance, or product
Experience building dashboards or visual analytics using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
Willingness to travel occasionally for business needs
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent required
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background screening, fingerprinting, and drug testing
Must meet applicable regulatory requirements, including those under the Federal Deposit Insurance Act
Authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available

Preferred

Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in a quantitative discipline
Strong understanding of credit card economics, profitability drivers, and portfolio performance
Knowledge of credit risk analytics, customer targeting, and segmentation methodologies
Advanced Excel and presentation skills
Ability to clearly explain analytical assumptions, methods, and outcomes to varied audiences
Experience with machine learning or advanced modeling techniques
Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives independently while building strong working relationships
Background developing standardized metrics and recurring performance reporting solutions
