Responsibilities
Lead front-end development teams through iterative delivery cycles using Agile practices
Guide engineers through design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing operational support
Provide coaching, mentorship, and technical feedback to help engineers grow their skills and careers
Review and contribute to JavaScript-based codebases to ensure quality, performance, and maintainability
Collaborate with designers, product owners, architects, and platform teams to deliver cohesive solutions
Ensure adherence to enterprise standards for security, architecture, and technology governance
Diagnose production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive resolution efforts
Participate in scheduled on-call rotations to support critical systems
Identify opportunities to improve engineering efficiency, tooling, and system performance
Coordinate with external partners or vendors when integrating third-party solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of professional experience in front-end or full-stack development, heavily focused on JavaScript and modern frameworks
OR a high school diploma/GED with 7+ years of equivalent experience
Significant hands-on experience building applications with React or similar libraries
Willingness to travel occasionally for business needs
Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or equivalent required
Employment is contingent upon completion of background screening, fingerprinting, and drug testing
Must meet applicable regulatory requirements under federal banking laws
Authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available
Preferred
Strong understanding of modern UI architecture and engineering best practices
Experience working in large, collaborative engineering organizations
Proficiency with technologies such as TypeScript, React, Redux, Tailwind CSS, and unit testing frameworks
Deep appreciation for automated testing and quality assurance
Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes
Interest in financial technology or large-scale transaction platforms
Exposure to end-to-end testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress)
Familiarity with accessibility standards and front-end analytics implementations
