The Engineering Internship aims to provide students with professional engineering experience in a public sector organization while complementing their academic studies.

Responsibilities
Read and interpret construction drawings and other technical documents
Execute field measurements and basic calculations
Perform asset condition inspections in the field
Perform miscellaneous office tasks, which may include: data entry, filing, technical research and gathering of information
Scan and file documents and drawings
Respond to phone calls and emails from residents
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and access construction sites which may have uneven terrain
Ability to work around moving traffic, work in active right-of-way and construction areas
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree seeking program
Actively pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, or another related degree, from an ABET accredited college/university
Possession of a valid driver's license
Ability to work in-person in Dublin, Ohio (no remote opportunities available)
Availability to work 10 hours per week during the school year and 30 hours per week during the summer
Preferred
Experience with the following types of software: GIS, MS Office, and mobile devices (iPad.)
Prior engineering, development, urban design, architecture, landscape architecture, or other related experience (professional, volunteer, student, etc.)
