Project work dedicated to the design of materials and processes for Mars missions, utilizing local resources
Operation of advanced research infrastructure, such as atomization plants, additive manufacturing machines, and sintering devices
Characterization of synthesized materials using state-of-the-art analytical methods, including transmission and scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis
Computational simulation of material processing and structure-property relationships to accelerate the development of new materials
Presentation of scientific results at international conferences and in peer-reviewed publications
Participation in the acquisition of third-party funded projects
Qualification
Required
A completed master's or diploma degree in engineering or natural sciences
Strong background in materials science and physical metallurgy
Experience in powder-based metal processing techniques, such as sintering and additive manufacturing
Initial experience in computational modeling, including finite element modeling (FEM), and thermodynamic/kinetic simulations using tools like Thermo-Calc and CALPHAD
Familiarity with the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to materials science problems is advantageous
