Responsibilities
Direct the code enforcement program
Conduct complex inspections of buildings, construction sites, and land development for code and ordinance compliance
Review plans, blueprints, and specifications for code and ordinance compliance
Qualification
Required
Graduation from a standard senior high school, or successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, supplemented by two years of trade school or college coursework in the building and construction trades, and a minimum of five years progressively responsible inspection experience; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements
Must possess a valid driver's license from the state of residence
