Responsibilities

Design and develop interior and related projects and provide interior design for various miscellaneous and in-house designed projects
Collaborate with a diverse group of departments throughout Mayo to analyze proponents needs, and goals
Assist with the enhancement of the function and quality of interior spaces while maintaining and monitoring existing building standards as identified by Facilities Services and approved by committees

Required

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Fine Art, Interior Architecture, Art History, or Architecture

Must be able to define, prioritize and achieve specific goals and objectives with leadership competencies that include professionalism, honesty, vision, planning and team building
Must be able to work in a team as well as independently

Preferred

Experience with the design process including programming, schematics, design development and construction documents
Experience and preparation to achieve future certification
