Pharmacy Intern - Medication History - Limited Tenure, Supplemental

Responsibilities
Accurately obtain and document comprehensive medication histories from patients
Utilize various technologies, including Caregility, electronic health records (EHR), and communication tools (e.g., Teams)
Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare providers to ensure medication safety and accuracy
Counsel patients on medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
Participate in educational activities and hands-on experiences aimed at developing clinical acumen
Receive mentorship from experienced pharmacists committed to intern growth
(Optional) Assist with dispensing-related tasks, such as medication preparation, inventory management, or order entry, depending on site needs and the intern’s interest
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school
Pharmacy Intern Licensure registered by the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new systems
Commitment to professional growth and patient-centered care
Foreign Pharmacy Graduates must have a FPGEC® Certificate awarded through the NABP, this must be completed prior to and maintained throughout employment
