NEOGOV is seeking a Recreation Team Leader for Art Camps with the City of Eagan. This role involves assisting with summer art camps for youth, planning activities, and creating an inclusive environment for campers.

Responsibilities

Assist Eagan Art House teaching artists with summer art camps
Keep campers engaged in art activities
Plan, coordinate, and implement activities for daily Lunch Bunch
Create a welcoming environment for all students and their grown ups
Promote inclusivity and diversity in a community setting
Assist with set up, clean up, and use of facility, equipment and materials
Ability to relate to parents, program partners and general public in a professional and courteous manner
Assist with the supervision of program and participants
Make decisions and respond to questions and concerns relating to participants, programs, staff and the public
Respond to work direction
Responsible for his/her own transportation to program site
Assist with daily operations as needed

Required

Job seekers should be 18 years of age or older -OR- have one (1) year of experience in an arts or recreation setting
Valid Driver's License

Preferred

One (1) year of college coursework and/or skills in art, recreation, education, or a closely related setting
Two (2) years of work of volunteer experience
Experience working or volunteering with children
Availability to work Monday - Thursday during the summer with occasional Friday hours
Ability to be conversational in a language other than English
CPR and First Aid Certifications
