Responsibilities
Independent and Consistent ability to perform the following:
Cut, terminate and identify various audio, video, data cables and wire
Install TVs, Speakers, Video projectors, projector screens
Basic ins/outs, rack wiring and AV signal paths and control signal paths
Able to document and complete a Preventive Maintenance
Accurate documenting of paperwork (IP Sheets, Connection documents, anything necessary for SPS)
AppleTV and other video streaming devices setup, configuration
IPad set up (C4, Savant)
TV Display menu setup
Spire Certification Level 4 in Complete Rack Building
Ability to troubleshoot complex audio, video, switching & control systems problems
Start and follow up on RMA products
Assist clients with remote troubleshooting
Tutor client on system usage
Install and program Control4 and Savant remotes; 1 room setups (EA-1, S2 Host)
Motorization Installation & troubleshooting
Assist Spire technicians with remote troubleshooting
Work with project team to complete Support Hand Off and give feedback
Troubleshoot Legacy systems (10+ years old)
Complete Leadership Training
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in AV system installation, maintenance, and repair
Strong knowledge of audio-visual equipment, including setup and troubleshooting
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
1+ years A/V Support Experience
Maintain a valid driver's license
