Senior GPU Hardware Architect
Gloroots AI is a heavily funded deeptech startup revolutionizing enterprise cloud operations with their AI-native private cloud platform. They are seeking a Senior GPU Hardware Architect to lead the design and implementation of gigawatt-scale AI data centers, focusing on the hardware architecture for large-scale NVIDIA GPU clusters.
Responsibilities
Design and architect rack-level infrastructure for large-scale NVIDIA A100/H100 GPU clusters and AI workloads
Develop power distribution and management systems for gigawatt-scale data center operations
Design and implement liquid cooling solutions for high-density GPU deployments and thermal management
Architect high-speed networking fabrics and interconnects for GPU-to-GPU communication at scale
Lead hardware validation, testing, and optimization of GPU cluster performance and reliability
Collaborate with data center teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and facility infrastructure
Drive vendor relationships and technical evaluations for GPU hardware, cooling, and networking components
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in data center hardware architecture and large-scale infrastructure design
Hands-on experience designing and deploying NVIDIA GPU clusters with 10,000+ GPUs
Deep expertise in power systems design, distribution, and management for high-density computing environments
Proven experience with liquid cooling system design and implementation for data center environments
Strong background in high-speed networking fabrics, InfiniBand, and GPU interconnect technologies
Experience with rack-level design, server architecture, and hyperscaler-grade infrastructure deployment
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
Preferred
Experience building infrastructure for hyperscale cloud providers or large AI companies
Background in data center facility design, MEP systems, and gigawatt-scale operations
Knowledge of AI/ML workload characteristics and performance optimization techniques
Experience with NVIDIA DGX systems and CUDA ecosystem optimization
Previous startup or fast-growth company experience in infrastructure or hardware roles
