Belcan is seeking a Manufacturing/Quality Engineer for on wing support at their manufacturing facility in Fort Worth. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive database of shop build aids and storage tools, as well as creating detailed work instructions and technical blueprints.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a comprehensive tooling and build aid database for the DFW site
Lead the design of a global, work scope-driven tooling database to support all OWS sites, scalable by engine type and shop capacity
Create and update detailed work instructions and technical blueprints to support operational processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance with document control and release procedures
Support the design and implementation of systems to improve tooling visibility, standardization, and utilization across sites

Required

Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Product Data Management (PDM) systems
Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets (advanced functions) or basic SQL
Prior use of CAD software for (read and mark-up) and illustration software (Visio)
Prior experience in aerospace tooling and/or operations support
Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required

Preferred

Familiarity with GE Aviation systems and processes is strongly preferred
