AVP - Product Optimisation Analyst
SoTalent is seeking an AVP, Product Optimization Analyst who will support product optimization analytics across financial products. This role involves driving performance optimization through analytics, experimentation, and collaboration with various teams to inform product strategies and enhancements.

Responsibilities
Provide primary analytical support for product optimization strategies
Analyze large, complex datasets to generate insights that inform product performance and optimization decisions
Partner with product, finance, credit, commercial, client, digital, and analytics teams to support the development and enhancement of new products and capabilities
Segment customers by product, pricing, terms, behavior, adoption, credit performance, and profitability
Leverage partner data and external data sources to understand customer behavior, economics, and competitive dynamics
Apply statistical modeling, advanced analytics, and data visualization to deliver actionable recommendations
Design and implement analytical frameworks to measure product performance and identify improvement opportunities
Support product testing, experimentation, and validation using rigorous analytical methodologies
Establish test-and-control strategies and define metrics to track performance
Communicate insights through dashboards, reports, and presentations for both technical and business audiences
Collaborate with subject matter experts to accelerate understanding of data structures and content
Contribute to special projects and additional initiatives as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field
6+ years of progressive experience in analytics within banking, financial services, credit, payments, marketing, or consulting
OR 7+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
3+ years of experience using statistical tools such as SAS, R, or Python for data mining and advanced analysis
3+ years leading large-scale analytics projects
3+ years working with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., marketing, credit risk, finance)
2+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, SAS Viya, or Power BI
Ability to travel for business as required
Preferred
Master's degree or MBA in a quantitative field
Strong understanding of card industry P&L drivers and assumptions
Experience with credit risk performance, targeting, and segmentation
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Hands-on experience with statistical modeling and machine learning techniques
Proven ability to explain complex analytics and justify assumptions to varied stakeholder groups
Strong project management, communication, and relationship management skills
Experience developing, documenting, and maintaining standardized metrics and performance dashboards
