Responsibilities
Lead engineering teams through all phases of the Agile development lifecycle
Own delivery success across analysis, design, development, deployment, optimization, and operations
Coach, mentor, and upskill engineering team members
Collaborate with software engineers, UX designers, product managers, architects, and customer application teams
Provide hands-on technical leadership with deep JavaScript expertise (React-focused)
Review code and ensure high standards for quality, performance, security, and maintainability
Ensure adherence to established architecture, security, and technology standards
Analyze production defects, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective fixes
Participate in incident management and problem resolution activities
Provide periodic 24×7 on-call support
Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, stability, and performance
Work with third-party vendors to develop or integrate software solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of full-stack development experience with a strong focus on JavaScript (ReactJS)
OR High School Diploma / GED with 7+ years of equivalent experience
Strong hands-on experience in front-end engineering and modern JavaScript frameworks
Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required
Preferred
Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and engineering best practices
Experience working in large, collaborative engineering teams
Advanced understanding of application, data, and infrastructure architecture
Proficiency in: TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Redux, Tailwind CSS, Unit testing frameworks
Strong testing mindset with emphasis on quality and reliability
Experience working autonomously in fast-paced environments
Interest in financial technology products and platforms
