Senior Finance Support Specialist

DOMA Technologies is dedicated to data-centric transformation in healthcare, seeking a Senior Finance Support Specialist to assist the Finance and Accounting Department with various administrative tasks. The role involves preparing billings, managing accounts receivable, supporting invoice disputes, and providing clerical support to ensure efficient financial operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly billings for a variety of contract types, to include FFP, T&M and CPFF
Support the Invoice Dispute Resolution (IDR) program, including customer setup, documentation, and daily payment application
Manage and monitor accounts receivable aging reports to ensure timely collection of payments
Provide collections support, communicating with customers regarding outstanding invoices by following up on outstanding payments and resolving any billing discrepancies
Prepare and analyze monthly unbilled reports
Pull and distribute reports required for internal and external audits
Perform miscellaneous reconciliations and data validation within Costpoint as assigned
Provide administrative and clerical support to the finance and accounting department

Required

High School Diploma or GED plus 2-4 years of accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of general accounting practices
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Experience applying customer payments
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications, with advanced knowledge in Excel
Strong proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas)
Must have strong customer service and interpersonal skills
High accuracy and attention to detail
Must have strong problem-solving skills, strong ability to multi-task, prioritize and be well organized

Preferred

Experience with Deltek Costpoint preferred
Experience in billing, preferably in Government contracting
