Business Development Manager - Retail Partnerships
BMS Performance is a globally recognized automotive consumer information business seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the U.S. and Canada. The role focuses on opening new retail partnerships and optimizing existing accounts in the automotive aftermarket and e-commerce sectors.
Responsibilities
Open new national, regional, and digital retail partnerships
Grow and optimise existing strategic accounts
Lead buyer meetings, line reviews, and category discussions
Build commercial proposals covering product launches, merchandising, and digital placements
Manage forecasts, pipeline, and account performance
Qualification
Required
7+ years' sales or account management experience in automotive aftermarket or consumer retail
Proven success selling consumer products into centralized retail buyers
Strong new business development and long-term account growth experience
Comfortable with line reviews, category resets, and omnichannel programs
Willing to travel across North America
Preferred
Experience with major automotive aftermarket, big-box, or Canadian retailers
Background in consumer content, publishing, or automotive data/tools
