Responsibilities
Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Arc welding techniques for fabrications
Ensure weld operations are conducted in accordance with established specifications, including production work orders and drawings
Conduct quality and self-inspection using drawings, fixtures, jigs, and measuring tools
Meet pre-established objectives independently or as a team with limited supervision
Maintain safety standards while handling parts and operating equipment to prevent damage
Actively participate in new product introduction and suggest improvements in production and quality
Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the workplace
Perform routine maintenance on welding machines as outlined in procedure manuals
Ensure the workplace is safe and free of dangerous obstacles
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in MIG/TIG welding
Experience in welding heavy steel and stainless steel
Proficiency with new build welds and repair welds
Ability to interpret blueprints
Experience with TIG, flux core, stainless steel, and FCAW welding
High school diploma or GED
Manual dexterity
Strong troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Adaptability to various changes in situations
