Responsibilities
Lead structural design and analysis for new construction, renovation, and retrofit projects
Conduct and oversee Local Law 11 façade inspections and prepare engineering reports
Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and reports
Conduct site inspections and provide professional recommendations
Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical and innovative solutions
Ensure compliance with NYC Building Code, Local Law 11, and other applicable standards
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to professional development within the team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or ability to obtain in New York
5+ years of relevant structural engineering experience, including building envelope, high-rise, or specialty structure projects
Experience with Local Law 11 inspections and façade remediation projects a strong plus
Proficiency with structural analysis software and strong technical problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management abilities
