Responsibilities
Review Office.js scripts generated by AI models and Excel’s “Record Actions” feature
Debug, correct, and optimize JavaScript scripts for Excel compatibility and accuracy
Validate script output by comparing generated .xlsx files against expert-created reference files
Collaborate asynchronously with prompt engineers and spreadsheet specialists to finalize datasets
Provide structured feedback and corrections to improve AI-generated code reliability
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in Office.js and JavaScript, especially for Excel automation and add-ins
2–6 years of professional software development experience
Hands-on experience working with Excel APIs and spreadsheet automation tools
Strong debugging, validation, and code review skills
Ability to translate natural-language instructions into accurate spreadsheet logic
Comfortable working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
