Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
Review drawings, specifications, and project documents
Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier bids
Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure accurate projections
Track project costs and assist with budget control
Identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Construction Estimator (commercial and/or residential)
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and local market pricing
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work onsite in Jacksonville, FL
