Responsibilities

Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers; and managing relocations and intern program
Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs
Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; and maintaining rapport
Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications
Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, and using newsgroups and job sites
Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements
Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranging travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicants to interviews; and arranging community tours
Resolve complex employee relations issues and grievances, acting as a coach and mediator
Lead prompt investigations into legal-related matters and misconduct complaints, recommending fair resolutions
Drive a positive workplace culture by monitoring engagement drivers and implementing retention strategies
Advise employees and management on benefits administration, leave management (including FMLA), and medical leave requests
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to select and implement value-added benefit plans and wellness programs
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding employee leave and benefits eligibility
Identify departmental training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of current educational programs
Design and facilitate leadership development, career planning, and succession planning initiatives
Coach senior leaders on building high-performing, inclusive team cultures
Facilitate gross payroll reconciliation and ensure high-quality HR administration related to pay changes and tax compliance
Conduct position classification and compensation market analyses to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness
Maintain HR data integrity within HRIS systems

Required

10+ years of comprehensive HR experience, with a proven track record in a strategic HRBP or senior specialist role
Healthcare / Non-Profit 5yrs+
Proficiency with ADP WorkforceNow. 5yrs+
Strong emotional intelligence (EQ), analytical mindset, and the ability to influence without authority in ambiguous situations
