Metric Geo is a well-established electrical contractor seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee large-scale Transmission & Distribution electrical construction projects. The role involves providing cost estimating support and managing project execution from preconstruction through to completion.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed project construction schedules
Manage day-to-day execution of assigned transmission and electrical construction projects
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, clients, and stakeholders
Coordinate meetings, deliverables, schedules, and project communications
Prepare look-ahead schedules, progress reports, and billing documentation
Monitor job costs, budgets, and financial performance
Report project status, risks, and forecasts to leadership
Prepare detailed labor and material cost estimates within deadlines
Perform field take-offs and constructability evaluations
Participate in estimate reviews with internal and external stakeholders
Develop bills of material and support procurement activities
Attend field walkdowns with clients, subcontractors, and construction teams
Support change order preparation and lifecycle cost tracking
Ensure compliance with safety, ethics, and professional conduct standards
Travel to job sites as required (up to 25%)

Required

10+ years of experience in electrical construction project management and estimating
Minimum 2+ years of experience specifically within Transmission & Distribution
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong knowledge of NEC and applicable local codes
Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, architectural, and mechanical drawings
Proficiency with estimating software (Accubid or similar)
Experience with Microsoft Project and/or Primavera scheduling tools
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Self-motivated team player capable of working across multiple disciplines
Willingness to travel up to 25%
