Responsibilities

Set clear expectations with individuals based on their level and role and aligned to the broader organization's goals. Meet regularly with individuals to discuss performance and development and provide feedback and coaching

Apply AI to implement features (tools and agents) to enhance user experience as well as optimize automation and workflow infrastructure to streamline processes and maximize efficiency

Lead a team of experienced engineers to scale the AI-driven transformation of the software development lifecycle

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners including User Experience, Product Managers, and Technical Program Managers

Enhance and improve upon engineering productivity processes across Google

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

8 years of experience in full-stack software development using languages such as C++, Java, Kotlin, and Typescript

3 years of experience in a technical leadership role

2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role

Experience with developer tools, cloud-native platforms, or infrastructure products including Generative AI (GenAI) technologies

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field

3 years of experience working in a structured organization
